维京时代 黄铜色 吊坠/表带支架 - 43 mm (没有保留价)

Material: Bronze Culture: Viking Age (Norse) Date: Circa 9th–11th century AD Type: Pendant / amuletic mount (possibly also a strap distributor) Height: 43 mm Width: 34 mm Condition Good archaeological condition with stable patina and surface wear consistent with age. Complete and structurally sound. An authentic Viking Age bronze openwork pendant or strap mount dating to approximately the 9th–11th century AD. The piece is formed as a square central frame with four projecting circular loops arranged in a cross-shaped configuration, one loop serving as a suspension element. Objects of this type are known from Viking Age contexts across Northern and Eastern Europe and are variously interpreted as pendants, amuletic mounts, or multi-strap connectors. When worn as pendants, such pieces likely held symbolic or protective significance, reflecting the Norse tradition of geometric and functional ornamentation combined with personal adornment. The balanced openwork design and symmetrical form give the object a strong visual presence, while its compact size makes it well suited for suspension from a necklace, belt, or garment. The surface displays an attractive green archaeological patina consistent with age and burial.
