Typology : Amazing Chopper. Material : Flint. Cutting : This chopper was made on a flint nodule. Few large flakes were cut to create the cutting edge. Dating, hominid : This implement belongs to the Acheulean Culture ( Lower Paleolithic period, circa 400 000 - 800 000 years ago), and was conceived by Homo HEIDELBERGENSIS (European Erectus). Origin : Found in North of France. Sizes : 12 cm X 10,5 cm. Condition : Very well preserved. Beautiful Patina !!! Acquired in 2025 from a. private collector, collected since the 70's.
