Ancient Luristan / Greek Bronze Arrowheads (Pair) – Uncleaned, As-Found State
c. 1st Millennium BC

A fine and well-matched pair of ancient bronze arrowheads, attributed to the Luristan /
Greek cultural sphere, dating to the 1st millennium BC.
Both arrowheads are preserved in an entirely uncleaned, original as-found condition,
retaining their authentic burial surfaces and untouched patination. Each example
features an elongated blade with a clearly defined midrib and tapering point,
accompanied by intact tangs, demonstrating skilled ancient metallurgy and functional
design.

The surfaces display a naturally developed green and turquoise patina, with areas of
earthen encrustation consistent with long-term burial. No modern cleaning, restoration,
or artificial enhancement has been applied, making these pieces particularly appealing to
collectors who value archaeological authenticity.
Matched pairs of arrowheads of this quality and preservation are increasingly difficult to
find, and they offer an excellent opportunity for both study and display.
