A Roman bronze Lion foot, 1st-3rd century A.D. Finely cast in the form of a naturalistic right foot with detailed toes and a strong arch, rising to a flared hollow socket at the top designed for attachment. Likely once part of a small statuette, tripod, vessel or piece of furniture. The surface displays a dark greenish-brown patina with traces of reddish oxidation. Height: 3.4 cm. Width: 2.1 cm.
