古埃及 史前燧石刮削器与斧 (没有保留价)

Ancient Egyptian Predynastic Flint Scraper and Axe Circa 3500–3000 B.C. A fine pair of Predynastic Egyptian flint tools, comprising a scraper and a small axe, both expertly knapped from high-quality stone. The scraper is fashioned from a dark brown to black flint with areas of natural cortex remaining, displaying a carefully worked convex edge and clear percussion scars from skilled flaking. The surface shows attractive patination and mineral deposits consistent with age. The axe is formed from a lighter honey-colored flint, shaped with deliberate bifacial flaking. Its tapered form and smoothed working edge suggest practical use, while the even retouching reflects accomplished craftsmanship typical of the late Predynastic period. Such tools were essential implements in daily life, used for processing materials such as wood, hide, and plant fibers, and represent the technological sophistication of early Nile Valley cultures prior to dynastic unification. Dimensions: Scraper: 9.7 cm Axe: 7.9 cm Provenance: found in Egypt in 1930s. Ex Swedish Egyptologist collection, 1990s. Later in European collections.
