The original insert is now lost, leaving the structural mount visible and illustrating the ring’s original construction. Such rings were commonly worn as personal adornments and occasionally served as settings for colored glass, gemstones, or symbolic decorative elements. The piece displays a well-preserved archaeological surface with attractive green and brown patination, reflecting centuries of burial and age.
