Ideal for historical reenactment, bushcraft, or as a decorative collector's piece. The set consists of 4 utensils, all presented on / in a hand-stitched brown suede leather roll: 1. The Knife: A classic Viking / trade knife with a broad, curved sheep foot blade. The blade shows a beautiful forge-blackened finish with a polished cutting edge. The handle is forged from a single piece of iron with a twisted shaft and terminates in a characteristic loop with a curled scroll detail for hanging. 2. The Spoon: A large, deep-bowled spoon with a long handle. The bowl is polished smooth. The handle features a forged twist in the middle and tapers to a point, which was traditionally used as a handle but also as a skewer. 3. The Fork: A sturdy two-pronged fork. The handle mirrors the spoon with a central twisted section and a flattened, slightly bent tip opposite the prongs, often used as a bottle opener or for handling meat. 4. The Food Pick: A long, sharp pointed implement with a diamond cross-section. Used as a meat skewer, food pick, awl, or small utility knife. It features the same elaborate twisted handle with a large hanging loop and double scroll. 5. The Leather Roll: A thick, cognac-brown suede leather tool roll with four individual stitched pockets, yellow contrast stitching, and two brass press studs for closure. It can be rolled up for safe transport. Materials & Technique: Material: High carbon steel , hand-forged. Leather roll (genuine suede leather, brass rivets). Technique: 100% hand-forged by a blacksmith. Visible hammer marks, forge scale, and twisted handles are intentional and characteristic of authentic blacksmith work. Not cast or factory-made. Condition: New, unused, handmade. In excellent condition. The dark patina on the steel is the natural result of the forging process and is intended to protect the iron.
