Magnificent and esthetic pyrite specimen from the Huanzala mine, Peru. The specimen is mainly composed of an aggregate of twinned crystals of centimetric level on a matrix of millimetric crystals also of pyrite. Morphologically and crystallographically, the centimetric crystals are a combination of an octahedron and a pentagonal dodecahedron.
As can be seen in the images, on the back of the specimen there is a small label with the number 21. The specimen is from an old collection that belonged to Peter Seroka, a German who lived in Spain.
