Minor surface deposits consistent with age and burial. An exceptional Viking Age bronze chain terminating in a finely crafted ribbed circular ring, likely used as an amulet, belt or garment fitting, or part of a suspended decorative assemblage worn by Viking women. The chain consists of individually forged oval links joined by smaller connectors, displaying remarkable preservation and craftsmanship. The ribbed ring may have served as a symbolic element, representing continuity or protection, and is frequently associated with Norse female dress ornaments such as chatelaines, necklaces, or key sets.
