Byzantine Pair of Silver Amulets Circa 12th-13th century AD This handsome pair of silver amulet pendants is formed as hollow, triangular cases: one face repoussé-decorated with a central foliate spray framed by pellet and rope borders, the other with dots and crescents within a beaded triangle. Each has side suspension loops and pierced flanges along the edges.
