The bezel is engraved with a star of Bethlehem motif, the lines cut in shallow relief across the flat surface. The Star of Bethlehem motif is traditionally associated with the biblical narrative of the Nativity, specifically as the guiding star that led the Magi to the birthplace of Jesus.
