A very impressive Islamic Ottoman/Bedouin style silver-metal ring. It presents a rectangular bezel with a black hardstone intaglio showing a bird. The intaglio decoration served as a stamp or a seal, illustrating a protective symbol or the heraldry of the owner. The bezel collar features a decorative band with geometric patterns. The ring shoulders are also decorated with a raised floral motif. Good solid condition, wearable. Signs of wear consistent with age and use.
