Fully body off restored Rover Mini Kensington from 1996. 
This original Dutch-delivered Mini is in new condition, comes from its 2nd owner who had it restored in great detail in 2022; after restoration, the Mini has travelled only 1000 km. 

In 1996, the Rover Mini Kensington was issued by Mini as an anniversary edition, and was the most luxurious Mini available at the time; only ±2000 of it were produced, of which only 700 in British Racing Green. 
This edition is unique and a very value-stable investment. 

The entire body was disassembled, fitted with new original body panels, and a new 3-layer paintjob in British Racing Green 3 (inside as well). 
The engine was extended to +020 oversize, giving it a lot of extra power! The engine was also revised: the pistons, valves and even the gearbox were done and fitted with new parts, where necessary.

All the mechanical parts, such as the brakes, suspension, exhaust and hanging rubbers are new and revised.
The rims were sand-blasted, coated in metallic silver and fitted with 4 new Yokohama A539 competition tyres. 

Exterior: 
During the restoration, the doors, front panels, front, paravane, A panels, doors and sills were professionally replaced with original new parts. 
The body was painted in 4K paint in the original colours, and the interior was done as well. 
The British Racing Green paint has a metallic layer, which was also originally the case for the Mini Kensington. 
The rims were coated and repainted, the tyres are new, the bumpers, rubbers, front window and chrome parts are all new and replaced. 
The soft top was fully replaced, it has a new Zonneland convertible fabric top, which is perfect inside and out! 
The Kensington has its original bonnet badge, Kensington letters on the boot lid and 3 Union jack badges on the side screens and back. 

Interior: 
Original cream SPI sports seats made of leather, matching backseat, neat original door panels, and a newly painted walnut dashboard with matching door frames and gear knob. The Mini has power windows, these were installed during the restoration process and work perfectly! The controls can be found on both doors.
The Mini has safety belts in the front and the back, has an alarm and immobiliser (original) and 2 sets of original keys with remote control. 
The headliner is entirely new and the sun visors were also newly delivered. 
The black carpet is neat and the Mini has 4 new mats with CW logo. 
The radio MPI combination by Blaupunkt is new and functions excellently with the two loudspeakers. 
As mentioned, the large electric sun roof is new and replaced, it works perfectly. 

Mechanics: 
Fully revised 1275cc engine with oversize pistons +020 that give the Mini more than 68 hp; the cylinder head and engine were planed and fitted with new gaskets. The freeze plugs and all the gaskets of the engine and transmission were replaced. The gearbox is original, 4 gears, fully revised. 
The brakes are new, brake discs, brake pads, cylinders, pipes, etc. were replaced. The suspension has been fitted with Monroe shock absorbers, and new brake drums and brake linings. 
The subframe was repainted and built up with new rubbers and bushes. 
The exhaust is original and functions perfectly, the exhaust manifold is new as well. 

Bottom: 
A solid original bottom, with original sills, coated front and back subframe, new pipes an a natural tectyl treatment, giving the Mini a protective layer. 
The battery box and edges are all rust and damage free. The bottom is also entirely green, as is original. 

Description: 
We rarely see an original Mini Kensington in this great condition! The previous owner has spared no trouble or cost to return this Mini to top-notch condition. 
The photos speak for themselves of course, all the photos of the revision and restoration are available, as are the receipts and the original booklets.
