A fine black hardwood walking cane with silver grip, measuring circa 91,5cm in length and weighing 265g, the handle repoussé decorated in early Jugendstil with gemotric bands of foliage within parallel bands towards the top. Stamped with German assay marks for .800 silver, after 1886. Condition: overall very good, no significant damages or repairs. Minor wear, shallow bumps and blemishes commensurate with age.
