Two wings of a Serbian 17th century triptych painted in the monastry of Pec Decani. In the lower register left St George the Dragon Slayer and right St Demetrius of Thessalonica conquering a Bulgarian king. In the middle register left a church father and a monk and right St Paraskeva and a Holy Empress. In the top register left St Nicolas and right Charalampos. The icon is painted in a style derived from Byzantine examples in a fine hand. Typically are the dark black eyes of the saints. Size of each wing 25,5 x 10 cm. Usual wear and tear for a 350 year old piece.
