Magnificent porcelain figures, often named as allegorical or monthly figures, antic pieces made by the famous artist Friedrich Elias Meyer (1724 - 1785) for the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur in Berlin, in excellent condition. Friedrich Elias Meyer (1724 - 1785) was a German porcelain modeler and sculptor, who began working for the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory in 1748 and collaborating with Johann Joachim Kaendler, creating numerous models that established his reputation as a porcelain artist. In 1761 he moved to Berlin, where, as master modeler for the Berlin Manufactory KPM, Meyer created major works of the Frederician Rococo style in porcelain. Both figurines are in excellent condition, polychrome hand painted in vivid colors, underglaze blue scepters (since 1870), red imperial orb and KPM (1832-1911), model numbers "140/262R", reattached green branch and needle size chip on chalice, otherwise NO cracks, NO hairlines and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
