This exceptional vase was designed by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda, Sweden in 1976. It belongs to the "Wind Pipe" series, is mouth-blown and hand crafted, giving it a unique touch. A joyous art piece from this Swedish glass master! This object appears in the Kosta Boda guide to Bertil's artistry. The height is 47 cm. with a base of 9.5 cm. This vintage piece is in excellent, near MINT condition and is marked on the base "Kosta Boda Artist Coll." - "B. Vallien 48177". A prestigieus addition to a (Scandinavian) glass collection.
