Two German veteran medals from World War I. The medal on the left is the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Erinnerungsmedaille (Centen Medal) commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Wilhelm I, also known as the Centenary Medal (Centenarmedaille). The medal on the right is the Honor Cross of the First World War 1914–1918 (Ehrenkreuz des Weltkrieges 1914/1918) with the "VERDUN" (Verdun) bar.
