An exceptional vase crafted from solid opal green Bohemian crystal, distinguished by its impressive size, heavy weight, and elegant flowing form. The luminous opal green coloration softly blends into a clear, thick base, creating a deep and refined play of light.

The vase was shaped entirely by hand from molten glass using traditional glassblowing techniques, without molds. Every curve and contour was individually formed, making each piece a true original with its own character and presence. It is not merely a decorative object, but a striking glass sculpture.

This piece originates from the traditional production of the renowned Czech glassworks Egermann in Nový Bor – the historic center of Bohemian glassmaking. The manufactory continued the legacy of Fridrich Egermann (1777–1864), inventor of the famous Egermann overlay (Lasur) technique that brought Czech glass worldwide fame.

For generations, Egermann represented craftsmanship, artistic integrity, and prestige, exporting its works across the world. Today, authentic hot-worked pieces of this kind are becoming increasingly rare, as this traditional method of production has largely disappeared.
