The set consists of two different Herend patterns: • Rothschild Bird – hand-painted decoration with birds and insects among branches. This is one of Herend’s most famous and collectible patterns. • Coronation (Bat) – elegant design with stylised gold leaf motifs and a blue band. Both pieces feature the characteristic Herend relief basket-weave border, fine hand painting and gilded rims. The bases are marked with the blue HEREND HUNGARY – HANDPAINTED factory mark. Condition • The Rothschild Bird cup and saucer are in very good condition with only minimal signs of age. • The Coronation (Bat) cup has a visible hairline crack, as shown in the photos.
