The Ridderzaal, built in the 13th century, is a prominent medieval building that serves as the centerpiece of the Binnenhof, the political heart of the Netherlands. Known for its iconic Gothic architecture, including its tall twin towers and large stained-glass windows, the Ridderzaal is used for ceremonial events, most notably the annual Prinsjesdag, when the Dutch monarch delivers the Speech from the Throne. KLM introduced the miniature as part of their Delft Blue houses series.
