A fine example of the last Victorian Crown, struck in the final year of Queen Victoria’s reign. The obverse features the aged, veiled portrait of Victoria by Thomas Brock, with the legend VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITT REGINA FID DEF IND IMP. The reverse displays the iconic St. George and the Dragon by Benedetto Pistrucci, dated 1900. The edge is inscribed LXIV, marking the 64th year of Victoria’s reign.
Composition: Sterling silver (0.925), weight 28.28g, diameter 38mm. Grade: Very Fine (VF). Unslabbed/raw.
