19th-century silver reliquary containing a Holy relic of: Ex Pallio (from the cloak) of: Saint Joseph - Virgin mary Spouse Garments from the Holy Family are considered First Class Relics due to their importance are lack of bodily remains. The sacred relic is carefully preserved beneath glass and place on top of a velvet background. At the back of the reliquary, we find an episcopalian wax seal holding the threads together and guaranteeing the authenticity of the holy relic. The seal is from His Eminence Cardinal Engelbert Sterckx Archbishop of Mechelen an Primate of Belgium. The upper ring of the reliquary is in silver and the rest of the body in brass or copper.
