ACCA AU, Japan Edo Period - Kan'ei Tsūhō Kohei, Hira-naga (Yamashiro Fushimi), Pattern Coin This Kan'ei Tsūhō pattern coin is exceptionally beautiful, graded AU, and is a very rare pattern coin. The layout is a complex version of Hira-naga and Yamashiro Fushimi, a style seldom seen. The Kan'ei Tsūhō had complex versions, serving as Japan’s standardized coinage to counter foreign currency. The historical process was full of twists and turns. The feature of old Japanese coins is that while the name remained unchanged, the design was adjusted, making them difficult to identify among ancient coins. At first glance, all Kan'ei Tsūhō coins might seem the same, but pattern coins are actually different. This particular coin, despite its age, is exceptionally well-preserved.
