Beautiful Lithuanian silver 10 Litų commemorative coin issued in 1936 in honor of Grand Duke Vytautas the Great (Vytautas Magnus), one of the most important rulers in Lithuanian history.

The obverse features a portrait of Vytautas the Great with the inscription “VYTAUTAS DIDYSIS 1930 METAIS MIRĘS LIETUVAI”. The reverse depicts the Vytis (Lithuanian coat of arms) and the denomination.

The coin retains an attractive original silver appearance with strong mirror-like luster visible under light. Fine details of the portrait, crown and Vytis remain clearly visible.
