It is offered for auction a beautiful Bohemian Czech Art Deco vase 'Echo' executed by Desná glassworks (pattern number 85015/150) and presented in a collection of artistic crystal and smooth cut decorative glass with rooths in the pre-war tradition of the region (e.g. Hoffmann/Schlevogt glassworks). The vase has a triangular shape with a relief design of a nude women on the front and irregular shaped sides. The sides have a design of "echo waves" giving a sense of deepness and perpetuity. Translucent satin finish. Colour is of alexandrite - purple. The simple art deco style design, as well as the warm lavender color from daylight that turns into pale blue under fluorescent light are highly emphasizing the special beauty of this vase. The vase is signed on the bottom with the etched sign Desná. Except some scratches on the bottom (or the initials of the glass cutter?), the vase is in excelent condition, please refer to the pictures for a detailed and accurate evaluation.
