He worked until 1969 as an artist at the technical-artistic center EXBOR in the Borské Sklo company, which was led by René Roubíček. He had a significant influence on the production of the so-called Borsk glass workshops, where new production concepts were being developed and demanding handmade glass was being made. After the August occupation, he suffered a serious illness at the turn of 1968–1969 that required a long recovery, and in the fall of 1969, he ended his collaboration with EXBOR. From 1970, he worked as a freelance artist.
