1970s Hollywood Regency Gold-Tone Birdcage with Floor Stand, 1970s A tall vintage birdcage combining a domed gold-tone metal cage, contrasting black base and slender tripod floor stand. Its architectural silhouette and reflective finish give it strong decorative presence while retaining the practical details of a traditional birdcage. The combination of a tall freestanding format, domed wire construction and black-and-gold colour contrast creates greater decorative impact than a standard tabletop cage. Large vintage birdcages are sought for Hollywood Regency, maximalist and botanical interiors, where they are often used as sculptural display objects. Presented in vintage condition with surface marks, scratches, oxidation and finish wear consistent with age and use. The black base also shows visible traces of use. For safer transport, the cage and stand will be separated and carefully packed for shipping. It will be shipped exactly as shown in the photographs, so please examine all images carefully.
