It features bold black and red typography with a dramatic central lightning bolt, typical of high-voltage electrical warning signage. The plaque retains visible manufacturing markings including CATU S.A. Paris, AM 502 and Alumetal Bté S.G.D.G., adding authenticity and industrial character. Made from metal/aluminium, it is a particularly decorative example of French electrical safety signage. The accompanying Italian sign dates from approximately the 1970s–1980s and reads “ACQUA NON POTABILE” (Non-potable water).
