This silver double stiver was struck at the Dordrecht mint under the authority of the States of Holland. The coin is part of the regular silver coinage produced for daily commercial use in the 18th-century Dutch Republic.

Reverse: Within a laurel wreath, a bundle of seven arrows is depicted, symbolizing the unity of the seven provinces. The value indication 2 - S (2 Stivers) is split on either side of this bundle of arrows.
