The large circular case is made of dark blue moulded plastic with a sculptural, three-dimensional profile. It is complemented by a cream-coloured inner surround and a chrome-finished ring. The unusual white, red and black dial creates a bold geometric composition typical of 1970s Pop and Space Age design. The hours are displayed with large black Arabic numerals, while the red and white markers improve readability. Black hour and minute hands are accompanied by a slim red seconds hand. The dial is protected by genuine domed glass, which further enhances the clock’s visual depth. The clock retains its original electromechanical transistor movement, powered by one 1.5 V C/R14 battery. The movement and battery compartment are clean and show no signs of oxidation. The clock has been tested and is in perfect working order. The rare original period box is also included. The box shows wear, deformation and age-related deterioration, as clearly shown in the photographs.
