Strathearn P7 Millefiori Glass Paperweight 11 Spoke 1-2 Design Blue Green Red Vintage Scottish Art Glass 1970s Scotland Desk Collectible Beautiful vintage paperweight, made by Strathearn Glass in Scotland in the 1970s. The centre features a deep dark blue ground with a millefiori rosette at its heart. Surrounding this is a ring of star-shaped millefiori in shades of white, reddish brown and light blue. Larger green-and-white floral canes then frame the central pattern. Eleven twisted latticino filigree rods in light blue, green and yellow radiate from the centre towards the edge. Between these spirals are additional green-and-white millefiori circles, contrasting beautifully with the dark blue background and creating a bright, radial pattern throughout. The base shows a fire-polished pontil (see photo). In pristine condition – no chips, cracks, flea bites or other types of damage - an excellent piece for collectors!
