Monumental Scheurich 286-50 West German Fat Lava Style Floor Vase – 50 cm Description: Impressive and exceptionally large vintage ceramic floor vase by Scheurich, West Germany, model 286-50. This monumental piece measures approximately 50 cm in height and 33 cm at its widest point and is very heavy, giving it a strong sculptural presence. The vase features a striking deep red glaze with black mottled accents, combined with large dark textured relief medallions and applied decorative elements. Its bold surface treatment, dramatic color contrast and expressive texture are characteristic of the West German Fat Lava style of the 1960s–1970s. The elegant elongated neck, flared rim and large sculptural handle make this an especially decorative and unusual statement piece.
