A classic crown-sized silver coin of the Duchy of Brabant / Spanish Netherlands: an official Silver Ducaton / Dukaton (60 Stuivers / Patards) struck under King Philip IV of Spain (1621–1665) dated 1649 at the Antwerp mint.

This issue features the refined cuirassed bust wearing a flat collar (buste avec mince collet) and bears the iconic hand mintmark of Antwerp above. Struck to the high official standard of 0.944 fine silver (standard weight 32.78 g).

Design:
* Obverse: Cuirassed bust of Philip IV facing right wearing a flat lace collar. Legend PHIL. IIII. D. G. HISP. ET. INDIAR. REX with mintmark hand and date 1649.
