This is a Wyna 3 pencil sharpener, a vintage mechanical desk pencil sharpener produced in Switzerland during the 1940s. It features an industrial "Machine Age" design, which was heavily inspired by the streamlined front of a train. The wheel on the front is a selector plate with holes of varying sizes. This allows the machine to accommodate different pencil thicknesses, from standard thin pencils to thick colored crayons. On the back, there is a hand crank that you turn to drive the internal sharpening mechanism. Condition; Normal usage and working conditions The measurements are approximate and does not include the wood stand.
