Miniature candlestick, Pest, early 20th century. Made of 800 silver, with Hungarian dog’s head hallmark and maker’s mark. Crafted by Gyula Schmidt, the renowned Pest silversmith active between 1882 and 1928. Height 7.2 cm, base diameter 3.3 cm, weight 22.8 grams. An extremely rare and special piece, remarkable for its unusually small size, making it a true collector’s curiosity. It holds significant collector’s value, especially for admirers of Schmidt’s work. The item is preserved in excellent condition.
