Marchese Antinori Blanc de Blancs is produced from the best Chardonnay grapes and in some cases a small percentage of Pinot Blancs, for an elegant cuvée with refined freshness. The long stay on the lees gives the wine a lively floral and fruity profile with great balance and finesse. Cuvée Royale comes from a selection of Tenuta Montenisa's Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc grapes, for a cuvée of unprecedented and precious harmony, with great expressiveness and elegance. Staying on the lees enhances its intense bouquet with notes of white peach, bread crust and yeast. It has a pale straw yellow colour and a creamy mousse with fine, persistent perlage. It is balanced on the palate and brings out the liveliness typical of Brut. The Montenisa estate is located in the heart of Franciacorta, around the Borgo di Calino. Vines have always been cultivated in this land of great wines. Some claim that 'Franciacorta' originates from 'Petite France', an affectionate name given to it by Charlemagne.
