The movement is finely finished with gilt plates and shows traditional Swiss craftsmanship of the period. The watch runs and ticks (timekeeping accuracy not tested over long periods). The silver case is hallmarked 0.800 and stamped ARGENT 0.800, with additional maker’s marks inside the case back. Case number557251 . The exterior back cover is engine-turned and engraved with a decorative cartouche and an old monogram, adding to its historical charm. The white enamel dial features Roman numerals, outer minute track, and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. Original ornate hands are present.
