"Stainer" two piece 3/4 violin with a bow in a hard case, stamped "Stainer" to the back. The violin has signs of use, scratches and discolouration in places, please see the photos,

This violin is not tested.
The most famous of the Austrian-German luthiers, Jacob Stainer (1618-1683) the violin maker preceded the Stradivari and Guarneri. Stainer’s violins, cellos, and basses were favoured for the compositions of Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Corelli, Monteverdi, Purcell, etc.
