WINE VARIETIES: Careful selection of white grapes from the Demarcated Douro Region, namely: Viosinho, Malvasia Fina, Gouveio, Arinto, Cercial and Rabigato. VINIFICATION Grapes, from a single year, are harvested manually into small transport boxes and vinified in accordance with the traditional method of Port Wine. After partial destemming, the grapes are slightly crushed into stainless steel tanks. The must fermentation takes place under controlled temperature and is interrupted by the addition of brandy. It is a wine with great aging potential. Wine from a single harvest, aged in oak casks for a minimum period of 7 years. The bottling year is indicated on the back label. TASTING NOTES Extremely complex, highlighting captivating notes of dried fruits, such as hazelnuts and almonds, harmonized with delicate aromas of dried peach and plum. Nuances of candied fruit enrich the profile, while elegant toasted notes, resulting from aging in old wooden barrels, provide depth and sophistication. Refined and balanced, combining vibrant acidity with an enveloping natural sweetness. The flavors transition smoothly between honey, candied fruits, and toasted nuts, providing a rich sensory experience. Freshness remains throughout the tasting, culminating in a velvety and long-lasting finish. SERVING Pleasant accompaniment with dried fruits: almonds, raisins, peaches and apricots. It also accompanies sweet desserts, with eggs or dried fruit tarts, coffee and vanilla. However, it is a wine that can perfectly be drunk alone, cooler or at the end of a meal. As Port Wine is a natural product, it is likely to create a deposit.
