Bronze incense burner - Japan - ca. 1860-1900 (Meiji era).
Magnificent three-legged, polished bronze incense burner, superb engravings of the two symbols of Asia - the dragon and the phoenix, the handle on the lid is a coiled dragon, the handles are elephant heads and the feet are phoenix heads.
H. 31 cm
Very god condition, no accidents.
The object is part of my personal collection. It was purchased at an auction in Japan. I have not used it. Just as a work of art.
