Gevril - 'Wall Street' - La Chaux-De-Fonds - Swiss Automatic - Limited Edition - Ref. No: 4854A - Mænd - 2020+

Welcome to my Swiss Wrist Watches Boutique! Gevril Watches was founded in 1758 – which was around the time when most of today’s oldest watch brands (like Vacheron Constantin and Blancpain) came into existence. Although Gevril Watches does not have the same level of public acclaim as other Swiss companies (such as Rolex, Tissot, and Patek Phillippe), it does have a notable history and origin. Gevril Watches was founded by a Swiss watchmaker named Jacques Gevril. Gevril was born in La-Chaux-de-Fonds in the year 1721. He made his first chronometer in 1743, which marked the beginning of his career. 15 years later, he accompanied Pierre Jacquet-Droz (who was a well-known watchmaker at that time) on a trip to Madrid. This trip proved to be a turning point in his career and it was after this momentous incident that the company was established. Jacquet-Droz decided to make a trip to the king of Spain in 1758 so that he could exhibit his merchandise in the royal court. Impressed by the timepieces, King Ferdinand VI bought them for a price of 2,000 pistoles (gold coins). Afterward, Jacquet-Droz returned to Switzerland but Gevril stayed in Madrid. He was appointed as the ‘Royal Clockmaker’ by the king and thereafter, he spent considerable time making clocks for the royalty and sharpening his skill. A distinctive, Swiss-made timepiece is always a sound investment. Artfully reminiscent of the famed New York City skyline, each watch in the Gevril Wall Street Collection commands attention with a stainless steel, architectural design. The unidirectional rotating bezel frames sapphire-doomed, anti-glare crystal. Detailed to perfection, a magnified lens showcases luminous indices and hands on a contrasting dial. Form never suffers to function: each watch is water resistant for up to 200 meters and features a stainless steel bracelet with folding deployment closure. It's recommended to visit the website gevril.com, you'll meet many nice watches, incl. the offered Wall Street, as well as manual instruction for it. The offered Wall Street is brand new, still fully wrapped in original Gevril plastic (see pics). Movement: - Swiss automatic caliber Sellita SW200-1 - at least 38 hours power-reserve - 26 jewels - frequency: 28.800A/h, 4 Hz Case: - 316L stainless-steel, polished/fine brushed - IP yellow gold plated - 43mm excl. crown, 47mm incl. - 11,8mm thick - length lug to lug: 51,5mm - unique limited watch number 0**/500 (for buyer only), best proof of authenticity Crown: - IP yellow gold plated stainless steel - screwed down - Gevril logo Crystal: anti-reflective, flat sapphire Case-back: - solid stainless steel with engravings Dial: - blue - golden polished luminous hands and hour markers in Rolex style - date aperture at 03:00 o'clock, magnified lens Bezel: - blue ceramic - diver's 0 - 60 - unidirectional turning Bracelet: - IPYG - original Gevril - polished/brushed - IP yellow gold plated stainless steel - length: 26cm, incl. wristwatch itself and extra links - width: 21mm by lugs, 17mm by clasp Clasp: - folding deployment buckle - Gevril logo - diver's security Weight: 193 grams Water-resistance: 20ATM/200meters/650feet, perfectly recommended for swimming and diving. Insured, registered shipping worldwide with DHL Express: it’s not cheap, and yet fast and reliable, two days in Europe, three days for the rest of this world. My personal conclusion: every Limited Edition Swiss wristwatch is certainly a profitable investment: just imagine, there are only 500 pieces produced worldwide! NO EXTRA COSTS for EU Buyers!
