So did Andy Warhol in his time, whose name is equivalent to a brand, as he specialized in series of art works, creating his Factory and building a notoriety based on his figure and style. Ironically for a brand that works hard on elaborating its uniqueness and singularity, Andy Warhol depicted Perrier bottles as a mass market product when he created some screen prints of them in the 1980s. Now Andy Warhol is one of the better artist of the 20th as Roy Lichtenstein, Banksy, Damien Hirst, Egon Schiele or Chillida. The company Pervilleau and its advertising agency Langelaan & Cerf in Paris commissioned Warhol to design the poster to be used in the advertising campaign for the Perrier mineral water. The poster was completed in 1983 and was printed at Lalande-Courbet S.A., Wissous, France. It was awarded with the Grand Prix de l'Affiche Française.
