BarBeni (1981) - Path to the Blue Silence

This painting presents a poetic Mediterranean landscape in which a stone-built structure stands atop a cliff overlooking the sea. A winding stone stairway gently guides the viewer’s eye toward the quiet, solid building—symbolizing human resilience and contemplation in the face of vast nature. The contrast between the rugged textures of the rocks and the soft blue tones of the sea, combined with warm light and earthy colors, creates a serene and timeless atmosphere. Expressive, textured brushstrokes enhance depth and movement throughout the composition, evoking the spirit of contemporary classical landscape painting. This artwork is well suited for collectors who appreciate Mediterranean scenes with a calm, reflective narrative and enduring aesthetic.
