A solid pewter lidded tureen and its cover on three curved feet, measuring circa 22,5cm in length and weighing 1230g, with baroque handles, stamped to the underside with 18th century German touch mark for pewter, maker not identified. The lid adorned with large cast bramble and foliage.
Condition: Overall good, one handle with break in the metal and a few old repairs. Minor wear and some bumps, nicks and scratches commensurate with age and use. See pictures for an overview.
