It's strongly associated with Agra, India, home of the Taj Mahal and the historic pieta dura workshops.
The inlaid stones are :
Green: Malachite
White/iridescent petals: Mother of pearl (nacre)
Amber/orange tones: Carnelian or dyed stone
Pinkish/cream areas: shell or rose quartz stone.
Black ground is made of marble
Diameter: 59 cm
