This vase with the name 'VATEL" was designed by René Delvenne and made by Val Saint Lambert in Belgium around the middle of the last century. The twisted design is regularly found on vases from this talented designer. There can never be two of these hand-made vases identical , making each one unique! The base measures 8cm. flaring out to 17cm. at the top. The lower part of the vase is clear crystal delicately tinted in pink, gradually deepening to explode into a glorious deep cranberry red towards the top. Very lovely! The vase is in near MINT condition with only very minor scratching on the base due to movement. The base is signed "Val St. Lambert". Careful packaging will ensure a safe delivery.
