She was the first black model to appear on the cover of Vogue magazine (behind the scenes, the legendary Yves Saint Laurent threatened to withdraw all advertising from Vogue if they didn't feature Naomi, as Vogue disliked having black models on their covers). In Japan, Naomi Campbell is also famous for her duet with Toshinobu Kubota, “LA・LA・LA LOVE SONG”. Published in the 1990s, the height of her career, this book features photographs of Naomi taken by renowned photographers such as Richard Avedon, Patrick Demarchelier, Paolo Roversi, Peter Lindbergh (one of the people who contributed to Naomi's rise to fame), Mario Testino, Michael Thompson, Steven Klein, Albert Watson, Herb Ritts, and Anton Corbyn.
