SENSORY NOTES :
Straw yellow with greenish highlights. The nose is pungent and resinous, with notes of mint, aniseed, liquorice, black pepper, juniper and lemon. On the palate it is minty, slightly bitter, savoury, full-bodied, but quite sweet overall.
CURIOSITY:
The Liqueur du 9° Centenaire Chartreuse is a limited bottling: a few pieces each year to celebrate the founding of the order, which was born in 1084. It is a blend of different Chartreuses and bears the bottle number and year of bottling. Aged for at least 3 years in large oak barrels.
