Sandoz – Automatic – Black Dial – Stainless Steel – Founded in Switzerland in the late 19th century, Sandoz is a well-established Swiss watch brand known for producing robust, technically reliable mechanical watches throughout the mid-20th century. During the 1960s and 1970s, Sandoz became particularly recognised for its automatic models equipped with Incabloc shock protection and practical complications such as day-date displays. These watches are appreciated today for their solid construction, honest tool-watch character, and dependable Swiss movements. A well-preserved vintage Sandoz automatic wristwatch featuring a black dial with applied baton hour markers, luminous dots, and a framed day-date display at 3 o’clock. The dial is signed “25 Jewels – Incabloc,” highlighting the quality of the Swiss automatic movement. The cushion-style stainless-steel case gives the watch a strong 1970s presence on the wrist. Fitted with an original stainless-steel bracelet signed Sandoz. The dial shows attractive aging consistent with its period, with clear printing and well-preserved applied indices.
